Former CIA Director Gates to be named Defense Secretary
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- CNN has confirmed that former CIA Director Robert Gates will succeed Donald Rumsfed as Secretary of Defense. Gates headed up the CIA from 1991-1993.
Gates is the current President of Texas A&M University. |
