Exit polls: Pennsylvania's Casey wins among men, women, moderates
(CNN) -- In his U.S. Senate race, Pennsylvania Democrat Bob Casey drew significant support from men, women, independents and anti-abortion voters -- even though he personally is anti-abortion -- according to exit polls.
CNN projects that Casey will unseat incumbent Sen. Rick Santorum and head to Washington. Santorum fared better than Casey among anti-abortion and conservative voters. But Casey outperformed the incumbent on most other measures, winning resoundingly among liberals and moderates and even winning the core GOP constituency of white men, 52 percent to 48 percent.
