Dems pick up Pennsylvania House seat
(CNN) -- Democrat Patrick Murphy has won the Pennsylvania 8th District
congressional seat, defeating Republican incumbent Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick. With all votes counted in the well-to-do suburbs in Bucks County north of Philadelphia, Murphy leads by about 1,500 votes. With 10 races still undecided, Democrats have secured 229 seats in the 110th Congress while Republicans have 202 |
