Bush notified about GOP loss, will take questions tomorrow
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Senior White House adviser Karl Rove notified President Bush a short time ago about the GOP losing control of the House, according to White House spokesman Tony Fratto.
The president will hold a news conference Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET, taking questions the day after the midterm election, according to White House spokesman Tony Fratto. While disappointed in the initial results, the president remains optimistic that Republicans will retain control of the Senate, Fratto said. -- CNN White House Correspondent Suzanne Malveaux |
