Reynolds laying low after televised apology for Foley scandal
From CNN Producer Julian Cummings
BUFFALO, New York (CNN) -- Rep. Tom Reynolds plans to lay low for most of the week after airing a televised apology for the scandal surrounding ousted Rep. Mark Foley, R-Florida, a source close to his campaign said Tuesday. In a television ad that debuted Saturday in his district, the New York Republican apologized for the controversy over Foley's contacts with teenage congressional pages, and turned blame on other House leaders he said failed to investigate. |
