Democrats launch new Foley offensive against Republicans
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Democrats used the Foley scandal to turn up the heat on Republicans on Saturday, a month before congressional elections that put control of the House and Senate at stake.
The Democrats devoted their weekly radio address to the matter, accusing the Republican leaders in the House of ignoring then-Rep. Mark Foley's "obvious predatory signals" in order "to protect their political power." Full story |
