(CNN) -- A 30-year-old California man who has no kidneys has just completed a 2,700 mile, 30-day bicycle journey across the United States to help raise awareness about kidney disease.
High school teacher Bryon Vouga pedaled 100 miles per day and is believed to be the first kidney dialysis patient to ride a bicycle from coast to coast. His trip started in Huntington Beach, California, in June and finished in Jacksonville, Florida.
