Voices of the Millennium: Genetics
(CNN) -- Scientists studying genetics are working to help further our understanding of how human biology works. They will soon know the structure in fine detail of every human chromosome. It can be argued that researchers will have learned more in the last decade of the 20th century and the first decade of the coming century than at any other time in history.
The resulting ability to measure genetic differences between people will have profound implications for all of society. CNN's "Voices of the Millennium" series takes a look at these scientific advances and what they will mean for the coming century.
