Profile of a pioneer: Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona (CNN) -- Thirty years ago, Dr. Elisabeth Kubler-Ross wrote the internationally renowned book, "On Death and Dying." Her outline of the five stages of death -- denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance -- were embraced worldwide.
She says her views have not changed in the three decades since. And now, the woman who transformed common attitudes about death is facing her own final days.
Medical Correspondent Rhonda Rowland talked with Kubler-Ross at her home in Arizona.
