(CNN) -- Over the past several years chicken has become the meat of choice over beef. But the industry is taking the bull by the horns and is trying to beef up its product development.

The Cattlemen's Association is trying everything from deep frying beef to emphasizing the "ham" in burgers. New York Correspondent Jeanne Moos talked to cattlemen with a beef against chicken at a recent industry summit in New York.
