Texas-sized catfish caught in Texas

FLINT, Texas (CNN) -- Beating the state record by half-a-pound, east Texan James Laster caught a 98 1/2-pound catfish Thursday in Lake Palestine, near Tyler.
The Texas-sized flathead measures 53 inches long and 40 inches around. Using minnows for bait, it took Laster 30 minutes to reel in the monster fish.
He even gave it a name: "Taylor," after his nine-year-old grandson.
