- Receives completed stories from web editors.
- Proofs every story before it's moved out - checking for style continuity, technical requirements and multiple browser conformity.
- Communicates with ad sales department.
- Makes stories live on the Web.

- 28 years old
- Degree in Professional Photography from the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies.
- Mark has worked at CNN for one year. He started as a web editor in August 1995 and quickly became web master in November.
- Prior to working at CNN, Mark owned his own silk screen print studio for six years.
