Daily duties:
- Reads in to find out what's going on in the world, with the network and on the site.
- Searches the network for the best video and sound elements for each assigned story.
- Gathers the pieces and monitors tape feeds for updates.
- Consults with the writer to keep the story coherent.
- Writes captions for photos.
- Searches the library for file footage.
- Requests graphic images and advises the multimedia designer.
Personal stats:
- 26 years old
- Bachelor's degree in Broadcast News from Georgia State University
- Tammy has worked at CNN for two and a half years. She started as a video journalist at CNN, became a tape production coordinator at CNN International and finally joined CNN Interactive in July 1995.
- Prior to CNN, Tammy worked as a writer/producer trainee at WSB TV for one year.
