Daily duties:

• Reads in to find out what's going on in the world, with the network and on the site.
• Searches the network for the best video and sound elements for each assigned story.
• Gathers the pieces and monitors tape feeds for updates.
• Consults with the writer to keep the story coherent.
• Writes captions for photos.
• Searches the library for file footage.
• Requests graphic images and advises the multimedia designer.

Personal stats:

• 26 years old
• Bachelor's degree in Broadcast News from Georgia State University
• Tammy has worked at CNN for two and a half years. She started as a video journalist at CNN, became a tape production coordinator at CNN International and finally joined CNN Interactive in July 1995.
• Prior to CNN, Tammy worked as a writer/producer trainee at WSB TV for one year.
