A glance at super PAC spending in the GOP race

Super PACs, the vehicle of choice for outside group spending in the 2012 presidential election, so far have spent more than $26 million overall in an effort to influence the outcome of the race for the White House, according to federal campaign records. The data below is a glance at some of the super PAC activity during the 2012 GOP race for the presidential nomination. The information below should be considered as part, but not all, of the overall Super PAC spending picture. The data is current as of January 23, 2012.
