Texas bison roam to a new home

Web posted at: 11:56 p.m. EST (0456 GMT)QUITAQUE, Texas (CNN) -- A small herd of purebred Southern Plains bison, the last of their kind, are being moved to a Texas park where wildlife officials hope the species will continue to rebound. As many as 60 million bison roamed the Southern Plains at one time, but only 42 remain. Don Wall, of CNN affiliate WFAA, reports.
