Holy Cow!
Today's picture courtesy of Gaza tunnel smugglers, seen in this photo pushing a calf through one of the tunnels linking the Gaza Strip to Egypt. Israeli authorities say they are used to transport weapons, but as the strip of land is increasingly low on basic necessities, live animals are more and more often smuggled through the narrow tunnels. Gaza strip is running short of food and basic necessities thanks to Israel and the international community!
This is another photo that the Palestinians will use for propaganda purposes. An average IME reader would look at the photo and assume that the Palestinians are only transporting livestock through their underground tunnels. However, the fact remains that these so-called "smugglers" are actually Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists. They are even afraid to show their faces, because these same "smugglers" have been smuggling weapons into Gaza to use against Israel. In fact, just yesterday they fired a rocket into Israel's Negev desert, in violation of the Hamas-Israel truce. All one needs to do is look at the hundreds of weapons displayed publicly in Hamas and Islamic Jihad funeral processions. Since officially both Egypt and Israel (as well as most of the internationally community)have an embargo on the Hamas run Gaza Strip, these automatic weapons, explosives, and rockets don't just appear in the air, but they are smuggled by Palestinian terrorists through Gaza's illegal tunnels.
Gaza is in dire need of basic necessities. True. That's why a main part of the cease-fire deal was Israel opening all passes to Gaza for international aid and supplying medicine, fuel and electricity to Gaza. Let me repeat that: Israel is supplying its enemy, sworn on destroying us, with vital supplies that Hamas, even with Irani money, can't give its citizens (who elected Hamas, btw). In return, a few days ago a rocket is shot on Ashkelon, from Gaza, causing immediate (if temporary) closing of the aforesaid passes.
When will those Palestinians finally understand that Hamas doesn't give a damn about them, and is, in fact, harming them! Hamas is nothing but a military arm of Iran, with the soloe purpose of destroying Israel.
I have to wonder, what can a half starved malnourished (dazed?) calf have to offer.. to the already distressed imprisoned population of Gaza..
