Mr. Abbas Goes To Moscow

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas speaks after receiving an honorary degree from MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations) in Moscow. Thursday, April 17, 2008. Abbas said Thursday that a Middle East peace conference will be held in Moscow in June.

We have great hopes the conference will move forward the peace process between Palestinians and Israel, and that it will lay the grounds for the overall peace process for the entire Middle East that will include Syria and Lebanon," Abbas said in a lecture at a Moscow university. peace conference in moscow?

Abbas does not want peace, he wants peace without israel. otherwise there would be peace already. but like arafat, he speaks differently in english and in arabic.

listen to his arabic speeches and u will understand.
in answer to the previous post it is Israel that talks peace and acts by stealing land and building illegal settlements.two opposing things, you can not have stolen land and peace at the same time.I listen to his Arabic speeches he wants an end to Israeli occupation.this is the same in every language in the world occupation must end this is the first step toward peace.
Stealing land from whom? The well established state of Palestine? Ther stae the Arabs refused in 1948?

Where were you bleeding heart when Egypt brutally occupied Gaza? Where were you when Jordan occupied the West Bank, killing thousands during Black September?
Did you ask for a Palestinian State then? No, of course not!

But nothing Israel does will satisfy you, only the Arabs do right.

Get a life!!!
peace?
why?
Abbas need what?
