Mideast Snapshot

Chatting with Senior International Correspondent Nic Robertson at CNN's workspace in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, before heading out to shoot elements for next month's Inside the Middle East on the streets of the Saudi capital, January 14th, 2008.
Here's a story idea for CNN. It has become a truism among myself and my friends that whenever the Israelis are really pounding the Palestinians, CNN starts running stories on the Holocaust. And true to form, this morning, there was Barbara Starr with yet another Holocaust survivor in tow. That was hard followed by Ben Wiedeman with a rehash of the Jesus' Tomb story.

All we could think was that the Israelis must really be doing something so horrible that even Jesus and his tomb are dragged in to defend them.

CNN says its news is "tailored to its diverse audience around the world". Tailored, indeed. Don't you think that a good portion of your audience can't see thru this?
Palestinians in Gaza are being killed and wounded over 200 in the last few days, and CNN is Ignoring all this .I am waiting for the first Israeli killed to see how the CNN cover that.that is why I watch other news like the Aljazeera and there is a big difference in covering News.too bad that people in the US dont watch Aljazeera because the American administration dont want to show the real story.
Actually, every time I switch to Aljazeera, it makes me sick. It's completely one-sided. No wonder most of the Arab world don't know the truth and jump to rediculous conclusions.
Hala, you look very pretty :")
as always xoxoxo
