CNN World Affairs Correspondent Ralph Begleiter takes on a different journalistic role as the host of Global View, a new talk show focusing on significant international issues. Global View airs on CNN International. Begleiter brings 12 years of experience on the world affairs beat to Global View. The program's format addresses a wide range of international issues including politics, economics, religion, health, environment, the arts and culture. Guests have included Chinese Vice Premier Li Lanqing, Crown Prince Hassan bin Talal of Jordan, James Baker, Movie Director Neil Jordan, and Cuban National Assembly President Ricardo Alarcon. The show includes a topical summary report with contributions from CNN's 21 worldwide bureaus, uninterrupted interviews with experts, analysts, and officials, and a closing segment featuring a page from Begleiter's "Reporter's Notebook."
