John Lisk is a radio news anchor and coordinating producer for CNNRadio Network's afternoon drive news and is responsible for the editorial content of network newscasts. Lisk has worked for CNNRadio since 1990 and is based in CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta.
Before joining CNNRadio, Lisk worked as a freelance news anchor for Atlanta-based WSB Radio. Lisk has also worked at WCNN-AM in Atlanta, where he anchored mornings and middays and was responsible for writing and presentation of four one-hour newscasts. He has also anchored at WGST-AM in Atlanta and WSOC-AM in Charlotte, N.C.
Lisk has earned numerous awards for his work in radio, including the 1986 Georgia Associated Press Award for Excellence in Regularly Scheduled Newscast.
Lisk earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
