Carrie Lee

Carrie Lee is a morning business anchor for Headline News. Based in CNN's New York bureau, Lee joined the network in December 2001. She also contributes financial news segments for American Morning on CNN/U.S. and for CNN International.

Before joining CNN, Lee worked as a financial news reporter for CNBC, representing the Wall Street Journal. Prior to CNBC, she wrote a bi-weekly column for Wall Street Journal Online, covering Internet trends and online investing.

Before joining Wall Street Journal Online, Lee wrote personal finance articles and feature stories for SmartMoney magazine, the personal business magazine of the Wall Street Journal. Previously, she was a staff writer at Financial World magazine. She began her career as an editorial assistant at the New York Times.

Lee recently wrote the personal finance column for Razor magazine. In 2000, Lee co-anchored the Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition's Guide to Online Investing.

Lee holds a master of arts degree in journalism with honors from New York University and a bachelor of arts degree in economics and business degree from Lafayette College.
