Liz Kennedy is an anchor/editor for CNNRadio, based in CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta. She joined the network April 2003.
Kennedy launched her radio career in the early 1980s. She worked as an on-air personality and news anchor for WSNY-FM in Columbus, Ohio, was music director WYKZ-FM in Savannah, Ga., and weekend air personality for WIXV-FM, also in Savannah and WFOX-FM in Atlanta.
Prior to joining CNN fulltime in April 2005, Kennedy was the assistant director of operations, head of the production department and morning drive traffic anchor for Metro Networks in Atlanta.
Kennedy holds a bachelor degree in sociology from the Ohio State University.
