Jonathan Davies is executive vice president of CNN International News Advertising Sales.
Based at CNNs European headquarters in London, Davies oversees a staff of 200 sales professionals across Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Davies initially joined CNN in April 2001 to head up its global client solutions unit where he oversaw the development of cross divisional solutions across the AOL Time Warner portfolio.
During his time at CNN, Davies has overseen television and interactive advertising deals between CNN and a number of blue chip international corporations including HSBC, Shell, Nokia, InterContinental Hotels and UBS Financial Services.
Prior to joining Time Warner, Davies was a managing partner at MindShare where he was responsible for the Ford Motor Company account (including Ford, Jaguar, Volvo, Land Rover and Mazda), the agencys largest client. He was at MindShare for two years and his 17 years experience in the media industry includes spells at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he was a board director, and Ogilvy & Mather.
He has an MBA from the London Business School.
