Paul Chambers

Paul Chambers is an overnight anchor and entertainment editor for CNNRadio Network. He joined CNN in February 1995 and is based in CNN's world headquarters in Atlanta. In his current position, Chambers serves as a news anchor, film critic and celebrity interviewer. Chambers writes, voices and produces On Screen and CNN radio film reviews. He spends weekends flying to Los Angeles or New York to interview celebrities for On Screen. His interviews have included Tom Hanks, Mel Gibson and Sandra Bullock.

Before joining CNN, Chambers worked from 1985-1995 as a news anchor and entertainment reporter for Texas State Radio Network/KRLD Newsradio in Dallas. He was the solo anchor of an all-news format, as well as a film and theater critic.

Chambers earned an Associated Press Best Newscast Award in Texas while at KRLD. Also while at KRLD, he won United Press International's award for Best Spot News Coverage in United States Award for his report on the Panama Invasion. Chambers earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Valparaiso University.
