Free speech crackdown?An Egyptian judge has
sentenced 22-year-old Abdel Karim Suleiman to four years in prison for insulting Islam and criticizing Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak on
his blog.
Human rights groups and
fellow bloggers are condemning the action, and the State Department is also "very concerned," saying today that free speech is "critical" to democracy in the Middle East.
