On "The Situation Room" today, we asked viewers the following questions, and here are some of our favorite responses that we didn't get to read on air:
Would former President Clinton help or hurt his wife's potential run for the White House?Bill would be a chariot for Hillary's campaign. His political popularity rivals Ronald Reagan's place among Republicans, and the scandals of the first Clinton era pale in comparison to the bluntly apparent incompetence of the current president.
Steve, Delton, MichiganIf I were Bill, I would do anything and everything to help. Hillary is not anyone I would cross twice.
Mike, Wethersfield, ConnecticutPresident Bill will help Senator Hillary immensely. Since Bill would win the presidency effortlessly if he could run, there will be plenty of voters who hope they're going to get him as co-president if Hillary wins. That in itself will motivate voters to choose Hillary.
Sally, Alexandria, VirginiaMany voters are like me... they are going to vote for any Democrat who will dare attempt to fix this mess W. has made. Most of us would love to see Bill back any way we can get him.
Betty, Boiling Springs, South CarolinaShould the U.S. send more troops to Iraq?Yes, but only to secure the oil fields and provide Baghdad with electricity and water 24/7. We "broke" Iraq and we owe the long-suffering people there something. To think we wrecked their lives and crippled 20,000 American boys for the sake of our oil supply is a huge taint on this country's reputation.
Danielle, Leetsdale, PennsylvaniaYes, let's send more troops to Iraq, but only if their mission is to help the troops already there, load up and get out.
Garey, Milford, UtahWe need to do whatever it takes to win. If the generals think more troops are needed, then fine. I just want to win once before I die. We lost in Korea, we lost in Vietnam and we are now a nation of losers. Despite the naysayers and adverse media, we need to change and fulfill the will to win.
Barret, Bearden, ArkansasAre there no logical people in D.C. anymore? Hell no, we don't need to throw away lives. Only someone of limited or no intellect would believe that this mess in Iraq is worth one more young man or woman.
