(CNN) -- Remember Mike Curb, the record entrepreneur (and former California lieutenant governor) who helped launch the Osmonds? He's at it again, having
signed six young brothers -- age 16 to 26 -- to his Curb record label. They're the Clark Family Experience, they write and perform all their own music, and they talked to "Showbiz Today Reports" senior correspondent Bill Tush.
All the brothers' first names begin with "A": Austin, Alan, Ashley, Andrew, Adam and Aaron. The reason, said Alan, was never explained to them, "but the reason there are so many kids is because mom wanted girls, so she kept having kids until she got them." The family includes 11 children, nine boys and two girls -- the other five "still in training," he added.

The Clark Family Experience formed because of the family patriarch, a minister who taught his sons "everything," said Alan.
"He would pick an instrument for us if we didn't have one in the band," added Adam.
Big things are expected from the group. Country superstar Tim McGraw helped produce its new, self-titled album, due out in the fall, and the group's already had a hit CD single, "Meanwhile Back at the Ranch."
For this week's Showbiz Sessions, the Clark Family Experience stopped by CNN's New York studio to perform "Tell Me What You Want To Do."
