It ain't over Hill, Part 2

Patti Solis Doyle and Mark Penn are on their way out. Maggie Williams, Hillary's former chief of staff, is on her way in. So the news is breaking and I'm hearing from a major Clinton fundraiser.

My source tells me donors across the country are spitting mad that they did their part and raised $110 million, but Penn didn't do his and deliver a well managed campaign.

So, now, my source confirms, Clinton supporters are looking to raise $15 million to $20 million dollars, in $1 million dollar increments, to fund a 527 to go after Obama's lead.

Last week, the Iowa loss left the Clintons shocked, dazed, and confused. They had hoped for a second place finish. They didn't get it, and they won't be winning any landslides tonight. But the good news is that after tonight Hillary has a chance to take a breather, refocus, retool and refresh. She has time to pull her loyal supporters close and rally them through to February 5th.

Hillary may be down, but she is definitely not out. Expect more politically thrilling weeks ahead.

Hillary's supporters raised $110 million, but we can't get private donations anywhere near that for re-building New Orleans? What does that say about peoples' priorities?

I don't think it's over for anyone just yet. That's what makes this election interesting. I do hope they all remain civil. Feisty, but civil.

Good for Hilliary! You can't keep a good woman down it seems.

So is the rumor about James Carville coming to run her campaign true? I've heard that it is and then I heard that it wasn't. Or is Maggie Williams going to do that job?

At the price tags I've seen on these campaign, the politics may be thrilling but they certainly aren't cheap thrills. Hope Hilliary gets the money she needs.

I can't believe no one has considered this:
Iowa was an open forum, everyone knows in public who you are deciding on. Barack is hot so they all wanted to be in his corner.
Now NH. Like me, I think many people are closet Hillary supporters. I want her to win but would feel uncomfortable with a "Hillary for President" sign in my yard, maybe because of the Republican hatred for her.
So in NH, you vote privately so it doesn't surprise me at all she would do better in this forum.

It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings! And she isn't even in the room yet! LOL

Hillary needs to regroup and come out swinging! I think she still has a shot! She just needs to be more personable. And getting rid of some old people and bringing in new blood will help also!

It makes me very sad to see just how much money is spent on this election process. Just think about what could be accomplished if we took all the time, talent and money and used it toward solving our countries problems?

I have lived overseas in a country where they were only allowed 6 weeks for the election process so I know there has to be a better way.

After watching Hillary and Bill comment and perform during this New Hampshire event, it sickens me to admit that even though I'm a life long Democrat activist and have been since college, well, gulp. . . I will, never, ever vote for Hillary and will pledge to actively work for her oppositi on even if, God forbid, that means I have for vote for a Republican. She is simply unthinkable as a person I could ever support for anything under any circumstances.

An incredible victory for Hillary tonight, but John Edwards holds the keys to the kingdom. I'm an Edwards supporter and would love to see him as the parties nominee, but that looks unlikely. What is certain about Edwards is that his support of either candidate seals the deal. If he drops out before February 5, get ready for him to name the next president of the United States. Of course this all changes with a strong endorsement from the unions in Nevada or Michigan, which puts Edwards back in the race.
