Iowa, in the rearview mirror

Des Moines is very quiet now. The airport by 10am was fairly empty. A lone Richardson (placed 4th) staffer was giving a farewell interview to a local tv station. He says he won't miss the weather.

On to New Hampshire where the politics of hope (Obama) is a lot easier to practice when you're on top and the politics of can't we all just get along (Clinton) will be hard to practice and I suspect the Clintonites will not.

Local radio guy just said, "Now that all the national media is gone, we can act normal again."

Bye Iowa. We are taking our abnormality to the cold of New Hampshire.

Honestly I am glad that the Iowa caucus is over too!! I was getting tired of hearing about it!! It didn't live up to the hype by the way! Both party's winners were known way before anyone thought they would be! Guess that goes to show that the press doesn't know it all either!! LOL

I am looking forward to New Hampshire. The cast will be the same, but at least the scenery will be different for you all. I bet it's just lovely there!

THANK GOD IT'S over in Iowa. I'm sure the folks there are going to go through postpartem depression, glad to be back to normal, and sad that they aren't on the front page of the NYC anymore. I won't have any. I personally can't wait until Feb. 4th and we can all move on. I was in New Hampshire 4 years ago, volunteering for Wesley Clark, aaahh, fond but cold memories. My heart was broken when we, any democrat couldn't win against Bush.
What the "eff"? I'm keeping my head down and just waiting for these 8 years to be over and done with. Can Huckabee be any worse than Bush? No one can. Can we be better with Obama or Clinton, yes, but I just want the bleeding to stop. I don't want to hear about Bush's "legacy".
Oh, and can I say, Anderson, those new, groovy pie charts that you can hold and put in people's faces were, annoying....and funny too.
Made us crack up. Your face too.
Love you Anderson, love your willingness to try something new.
Even when it's annoying. hahaha.

Great reporting. Your no-nonse approach to politics makes me want to vote this year.

Your style is more interesting than Anderson Cooper and that silly screen graphic he was playing around with last night.

The journey between the caucuses then primaries must be exhausting. But you have to admit the cast of characters in the 2008 presidential race is worth watching. It is quite entertaining to watch their posturing.

I guess I am confused, because I thought news was supposed to be objective. What I keep seeing on 360 and on Cnn.com is how great Obama is and I think the comment was something like if you want change you have to vote for Obama, that was on the night of the election in Iowa on 360. Then I read this morning, about will Hilary nominate Bill to the Supreme Court. One conservative professor. Is that news? Everyone else thinks that's crazy, but hey anything CNN can do to make sure people understand that Hilary won't change the world. We, CNN, want Jimmy Carter II in the White House. Nice job, while I think Fox News is pretty crappy at least we all know their bent.

It is pathetic that you are still not giving any coverage to out future president, John Edwards. I am glad that that your Clinton-Obama coverage merathon is proving to be ineffective and We are sure that corporate sponsored and owned Media like CNN will ultimately loose and the peoples' person will rise. What you are doing on your channel right noe is a huge insult to millions of Edwards Supporters.
