Morning...I've got my coffee and am ready for my daily buzz! LOL

I have to say that I'm not suprised that there was violence at Bhutto's funeral...I really expected there to be.

And I really expected al Qaeda to take responsibilty for Bhutto's death regardless if they did it or not!

I also thought yesterday that we would probably hear from Bin Laden soon!! And lo and behold I look on here today and they say that he is putting out a new message!! Am I good or what!? LOL

I really hope that Musharraf can make some sort of an effort to work with the opposition party so as to curb the violence that has been going on since Bhutto's death. I'd hate for Pakistan to go into complete chaos!! But I'm not holding my breath on that one!

I'm really looking forward to seeing Anderson reporting from Pakistan tonight! I hope that they all stay very safe!!

This is so serious. I know the 360 team will have lots of security as will all the other western journalists, but what targets they will make. I pray for safe travel to and within Pakistan.

So, are we once again in the position of having to stick with the horse we rode in with--Musharraf--or is there some dark horse out there we don't know about? The thought of terrorists getting control of nuclear weapons is beyond thinking. I don't know when I have looked forward to a newscast more than tonight's to find out what Anderson is seeing and hearing with his boots on the ground.

I think decaf coffee is needed on a news day like today. I think there's enough buzz out there already. My thoughts go to the people of Pakistan. Violence has a ripple effect and the world feels it today. Take Care

Like Cynthia said, I wasn't terribly surprised by the violence at Bhutto's funeral. I was really hoping al Qaeda wasn't behind her assasination, but naturally, they're claiming credit for killing an important and influential person. Yesterday, when I found out what had happened, I was awfully angry about Bhutto's death, but now I'm more afraid that Pakistan is going to implode at any moment into a multi-sided civil war. Worse, it'll explode into something nuclear.
I'm looking forward to AC in Pakistan tonight... I hope some details get sorted out by then.

I certainly hope the CNN team can get to the bottom of things. For one thing, why is her funeral being held so quickly after her death? What are they trying to hide? The cause of death has changed about 4 times in 24 hours. Of course, what can you expect when you don't take the time to do a proper autopsy?

(sniff sniff) Why do I smell a coverup?

The stories in the news nowadays are full of death, destruction, and despair. That is unfortunate, but it is also the reality of the world in which we live. The assassination of anyone, especially someone like this, is terrible and a reflection of the hatred that man has for each other on a regular basis.

My opinion? We're going to nuke each other and just end it all. Then, there will be peace on earth because everyone is dead! *laugh*

Anderson and 360, we appreciate the tremendous lengths you are willing to go to bring us the freshest information and the best insights, so please be careful in Pakistan! :)

Benazir Bhutto was encouraged to step into the viper's den not for real democracy, but to give a softer face to a military dictator. When she wouldn't play ball, she was assasinated. As for the corruption charges, all people in power make money. It is what else they do with power that matters. We will miss this charismatic leader from the East. Rest in peace, Benazir.

A lot of discussion has stemmed from a misunderstanding of Islam culture when it comes to burial rites. Muslims prefer to conduct a burial within 24 hours. When a Muslim dies both the funeral and burial are to be completed quickly, if possible within a day or two of the death.

Words alone can’t bring change.

All Obama’s Beautiful Rhetoric like a Sophist and his handsome smile does NOT mean he knows anything about running a country. He's attractive and bright, but the guy cannot even argue on foreign policy!! He has NO clue about the international arena! He does not have ANY experience on ANY foreign relations committee in the Senate!

We Cannot Hollywoodize the Presidency with beauty and words!

If we want HOPE that is not void of content and potential reality, than we MUST have experience to bring change!

Hillary can do it. She has done it. Think with your brains and not with your love of beautiful words.
Obama is in no way qualified at this point in time.
he’s a nice guy, but so was Carter and look what a disaster his Presidency was.

We are at War we need a leader who can give HOPE content and meaning. Who can give CHANGE a realistic chance of becoming reality.
