Love the vid. I think this was one of the best PIP segments that we saw!! It reminded me of the shows on Discovery or one of the other channels.

I can't wait to see the whole doc!! Hope it is as good as this segment!!

I am SO looking forward to this documentary! I have worked as a Veterinarian Tech for the past 10 years and have always supported and believed in wildlife conservation. I really do hope that once people see how much of the rainforests are eliminated every year that they will feel compeled to do something about it. We all need to realize that once you start elimating certain species of animals that you are altering the environment in a way that may not recover.

Wow! Yellowstone is really beautiful. A part of heaven on Earth. Amazing.
This message is really powerful.
Everything is so intrinsically connected.
We are living in a world that's of symbiotic nature.
Wouldn't it be great if our future generations get to live in such an environment?
Do you think it's possible? I hope so.
(Oops! Someone once said, hope is not a plan)
Good job.

I love when we get Anderson out on a story exploring out from behind the desk. This is going to be a great one!

I loved the Discovery Channel's series Planet Earth as well and couldn't get enough of it. I can hardly stand the wait for Planet in Peril. If the previews are any indication of the upcoming special report, it's bound to be a success.

As a wolf advocate and supporter, it is great to see this working in Yellowstone.

It will probably be the only "positive" story in the Planet in Peril documentary.

I hope this will open the world's eyes and everyone will see the SERIOUS trouble our environment is in and what people are doing to it.

Keep up the good work . . .looking forward to seeing the series.

HI Anderson,
I cannot wait to see the entire Planet in Peril program-the teaser clips you present on 360 at night just heighten my anticipation of watching the whole thing!
Congratulations to you and the entire team who put this together-I'll be watching!
Take care.

AC360:
Has some kind of curriculum/lesson plan been developed by CNN with teachers to present the Planet in Peril series for students, especially high school students, who will be facing the next generation of environmental concerns and values?

Just can't wait!!!
I will recommend all my friends in Japan seeing the Planet in Peril.

Dear Anderson,

Although I enjoyed the PIP segments you showed on 360 since the beginning of the year, I always had a feeling you were doing something more. You seem to have covered a wide range of subjects in an interesting and entertaining way.

As an animal advocate with a great interest in the environment, I am really looking forward to watching this ambitious documentary, but I hope others who don't share these interests will develop an interest in these subjects because of their interest in you and 360.

Looking forward to PIP this month; all the segments have been so informative and having them all put together to see the whole story will be amazing. From what I have seen so far it appears to be an amazing special.

I don't patricularly think we need to worry; the atmosphere is infinite- I figure the air will always refresh itself. Nor should we get the government involved in land and water preservation. The reason? Anything you put the federal gov't in charge of, they take forever and usually botch it up.

This is truly breath-taking – a living masterpiece. The way life was meant to be…

Beautifully filmed and edited – all the scenes are stunning. The diverse soft hues and tones of greens are absolutely gorgeous – like the soft brush strokes of the finest artist. It’s pure perfection. Added to this, the touching background music chosen perfectly suits the peaceful easiness of the natural beauty in the segment. I absolutely love it! Great work!

Anderson suits this field of research perfectly, he has the voice and the heart for it. Looking forward to the 4 hour special. Thank you kindly – keep up the good work!

I was very disappointed. I am a scientist and environmentalist, and I applaud the goal and I saw no obvious errors. But with the overwhelming number of commercials and over-dramatization, I frequently found myself switching channels. It wasn't the content, but the delivery I found annoying.
