Thanks for keeping New Orleans alive in our hearts.. it's a great American city...

Im glad the young people are the "hope" of New Orleans. The city has a lot to offer and we should hold onto its history and charm whatever it takes.

I think you have to be practical before being sentimental when it comes to N.O. No city should be below sea level, so I suggest building homes for Ninth Wd. residents on higher ground. What are we gonna do- wait for another flood, then expect Joe Taxpayer to bail them out?

We've seen somuch extreme weather this year which proves you can't harness Mother Nature. How many more billions are we going to spend to learn that even industrial-strength levees won't save us?

New Orleans has been dealt a heck of a blow- but we're coming back and we can make it. We need people to come here and see for themselves, come visit our city.

RE: Katrina Two Years Later....

I hope this special is live and is not a bunch of old stories thrown together!! If so I think the fans will be REALLY mad!! We all know how Coop and CNN love to rehash old stuff and call it new! Hope this isn't the case here!!

Looking forward to the report...hoping it's new!!

Please focus on the food and music and how it defines the culture of new orleans and how necessary the people are to bringing back that culture.

With parts of the Gulf Coast still not totally out of the clean-up phase, with insurance settlements in dispute and with no master rebuilding plan for the city of New Orleans, I ask where is the local leadership, who is taking up the mantel?

I am not convinced those who lived in N.O. are doing all they can to get things up and running. Waiting on the government to take care of them is not always the answer.

I don't understand the lack of rebuilding despite billions of taxpayer dollars already spent in Lousiana and Miss. Who is accounting for how the money is spent?

Thanks CNN for keeping us updated on what's going on in New Orleans.
I be looking forward to 360 tonight and see what kind of progress has been done in New Orleans.

We have just cut the final physical ties that bound us to generations of life in New Orleans with the sale of my mother's gutted home there. She is marking the one-year anniversary of her move out of state at the same time we mark the two-year Katrina anniversary. Our hearts will always be with the people, places and memories of our beloved New Orleans!

Thanks Anderson for letting us know you are always there. I am so glad "you" are the reporting on
the anniversay of Katrina as you
have reported on it from the beginning. It wouldn't be the same without you. Thanks for all you
do. You are much admired.
