A "few" days off? Well deserved, I'm sure! Personally, I'm still messing around with that darn campaign song!

Have a safe and happy holiday, remember the old "Don't celebrate the fourh with a fifth"! I know many of you won't, my prayers with those who do!

AC and the staff at 360, have a happy 4th of July and I just want to say that I support our troops 100 percent and I hope they stay safe and come back home soon so they can enjoy their families. God Bless America

CNN team,

We would like to see more of "around the world news"... perhaps it would be a good 2nd hour report. Bring more of Christiana Amanpour and others of the same caliber.

Perhaps you should take a poll to see what viewers want out of your show. And by the way, I do love AC 360.

Best,

Happy July 9,2007. Hopefully, there are no breaking news this weekend and y'all have just read this on the morning of July 9, 2007. Sometimes no news is good news.

I would like to recommend a few lines from The Gambler sung by Kenny Rogers. The lines contain an apt message for candidates.

....if you gonna play the game, my boy
you got to play it right
you got to know when to hold on
know when to fold up
know when to walk away and
know when to run

And when we AC 360 is trying to find who is the King or Queen of Campaign money, we could sing (from the same song)

You never count your money, sitting at the table
For there will be time enough for counting
When the deal is done

Howdy. I, too, hope you all had a good holiday!

I would like to second the call for more international news made by Ariston Neto. I caught the noon CNN international news last week, and there were some interesting stories by excellent reporters, such as the piece on innocent Iraqis who were wounded in the war (absolutely heartbreaking). Not to mention Darfur, the environmental crisis worldwide, Congo, Israel/Palestine/Lebanon, and so many other international stories-- good news and bad news-- that we don't usually see. When the American public sees these stories regularly, we cannot pretend we don't know about situations, including those caused or ignored by our government. Perhaps you can carve out a specific minimum portion of both hours EVERY NIGHT where-- even if Paris Hilton goes to jail or Anna Nicole Smith's baby has all her possible daddies line up for DNA tests, a la Maury Povich show-- YOU STILL SHOW THE INTERNATIONAL NEWS. 360 is so good at what it does when it sticks to real news; so PLEASE limit the detritus.

I admire Christiane Amanompour tremendously. Hala Gorani gives good, tough interviews and reports great, important stories. Jeff Koinage breaks my heart with just about every report. I am not sure I have the names right, but Ben Weideman, Paula Newman (Newton?), and Guy (I forget his last name) do such great jobs as well. And I always appreciate the fine work and incredible courage of Michael Ware and Nick Robertson, two reporters who you do show, but could do so more regularly. One person I could definitely use less of: Rick Sanchez; as I like to say, if he were the weather forecaster, he would make a sunny day seem like the apocaplypse.

Also, more on domestic issues of importance, such as education; poverty; emergency preparedness (and how few of the 9/11 Commission recommendations are in place and/or fully funded as well as what we as individuals should do to prepare AND to force the gov't to do more); crime (and what replicable programs are helping making a difference); and the environment (especially more about what we as individuals can do, since the Bush administration is in its own ozone haze about this issue).

So, yes, welcome back. And here is the good news about using more international stories: less work for you, as so much of this great content is already shown on CNN International. That way, you can hopefully enjoy your next break even more, especially knowing that you are providing an even better program for your viewers!

Because of Anderson Cooper 360's new webpage look, I think the blog should also be renewed, where ONLY Anderson would post blogs, and where he would post them more frequently :)

Happy 4th!
