I look forward to hearing more from Mr. Giuliani. It's a long way to the elections, but I know alot of Republicans and Democrats in my own family that say he is a candidate they are very interested in. We'll see.

9/11 was heartbreakingly catastrophic and it was also Giulani's moment to shine. However, it's interesting that he and his current wife have SIX marriages between them and she might be sitting in on cabinet meetings. Isn't she also GREAT at house sitting? How lovely that he moved her into the Governor's mansion while his SECOND WIFE and CHILDREN were living there. It's quite telling that he's estranged from them now. The Giulani's were recently interviewed by B. Walters
and were very evasive on important questions. Good luck with that presidency thing.

Gingrich is just a complete jackass. I can't think of anything else to say.

What? No celeberity stories? No Catholic bashing for Easter? No sensationalism for ratings? Ah, real news, how refreshing!

Everyone in America should make an attempt to know English. Just as anyone traveling to another country should know enough to get by in that country. Its a two-way street.
Ballots in other languages should only be printed in the districts where the other languages are spoken. Otherwise its a huge waste of killing a tree. Have copy machines and one master copy of other language ballots in the voting location to make copies for those that need them in other languages.
Learning another language is a good thing. We should encourage most learning. Knowledge is power.
Thanx for CNN 360.
Take care of yourself.

It really doesn't matter if Giuliani's wife sits in on the meetings or not...didn't some of the other First Lady's do it? What's the difference?

I think Gingrich's comment was racist. Just because someone speaks another language other than english does not mean that they live in or came from the "ghetto". That is just total nonsense!

But I do believe that everyone should learn english. Not to do away with their native language but so that it is easier to converse with one another. And so that there isn't as much confusion when it comes to filling out paperwork, voting, etc..

Giuliani is no better than any other politician. He has no comand of the issues and is evasive while trying to be personable. What a phony. As for his wife sitting in on cabinet meetings, I hope we never have to find out.
As for English in America, I have lived in various foreign countries over the years and always found that learning just a bit of the local language went a long way toward being viewed in a positive way. I too think Gingrich is a jackass, always has been, always will be.

I am very distured by the pet food recall. I have three cats and I would do anything to protect them. I always thought feeding them high quality cat food would lengthen their lives, not kill them. I know how hard it is to deal with issues with a cat's kidneys. My oldest cat has kidney problems and sometimes they are hard to notice. You just have to pay close attention to behavior changes.

Gingrich is truly a man of clashing ambitions. While ingenuous Presidential candidates are always ambitious to promote democracy, his call to ban bilingual language in democratic elections is clearly uninviting since it amounts to ambitious suppression of democracy. His inclination of mind should be treated with candid contempt.

This world is a scary place to be at this time. We ignore the greenhouse gases which the old men in the government ignore because they will be dead by the time the world is destroyed. That must be what they want to leave for their grandchildren and their children. Bush is an ignorant human to say there is no global warming. If he were to admit that, his oil sales would blow him right out of business. Do we need all of the cars that are on the road? I live 2 blocks from an interstate and the noise is awesome and emmissions stink. My plants will not come up at all anymore. I have counted 150 cars per minute going west on I80. My neighborhood at one time was so quiet and natural. We even had a wonderful southern breeze until all of the trees were cut down for the highway. No trees, no breeze. This is a stagnant world, and I live in a small midwest city. God help us all. Keep us safe from the greedy business men that want to rob us of our few dollars.

I worked in Bilingual Education for years before it was outlawed in California. Our goal was always to teach students to become fluent in English. "Bi" means two. Teaching in Spanish was merely a vehicle to achieve English fluency. To say Spanish is a "ghetto" language is an insult. It is always an asset to know more than one language.
Now we teach only in English and the kids are mostly doing just fine, at least at my school where the students are predominantly Spanish speaking immigrants.
I was a supporter of Bilingual Education when we had it, but I would not want to see its return in California. There are many effective ways to teach children.

English--"It's the Language"! Good for Newt. We are tired of "Mexi-Merica, Mexifornia", etc. Last year's rallies of illegals marching with foreign flags and chanting in Spanish was INTOLERABLE!! Ship them all back to Mexico (and beyond)!!!

No English? No vote. No like? Go home!
