It's Getting a Lot Uglier Up There

Nearly 40% of the world's busiest air travelers say they witnessed examples of aggravation, disruption or "air rage" while flying last year. A survey conducted by the London-based OAG group, which polled nearly 3,000 frequent business flyers, found that 2% of those questioned had flights diverted as a result of such incidents. This anger: Is it because people are working harder? OAG's respondents took about 5% more trips in 1998 than in 1997, and spent 48 nights in hotels, up from 45 the year before.
