Silicon Valley attracts entrepreneurs -- and politicians

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Democratic presidential candidate Bill Bradley and GOP presidential candidate George W. Bush are both holding fundraisers in California's Silicon Valley on Thursday. Raising money in the valley is a tradition that started with President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore.

Why are high-tech areas suddenly getting so much political attention? For the same reason bank robber Willie Sutton gave when someone asked him why he robbed banks.

That's where the money is. CNN political analyst Bill Schneider reports on this fertile financial ground.
