Poll: Clinton approval rating up despite videotape release
WASHINGTON (AllPolitics, Sept. 21) -- President Bill Clinton's approval rating has taken a slight upturn and the number of Americans calling for his impeachment is down slightly in the wake of Monday's release of his videotaped testimony before Ken Starr's grand jury, according to the latest CNN/Gallup Poll.
The poll was conducted after the four hours and three minutes of videotape were broadcast. Of the 631 adult Americans surveyed, 385 said they had watched at least some of Clinton's testimony.
