Clinton's standing with the publicSince the release of Independent Counsel Ken Starr's report on his sex-and-perjury investigation, President Bill Clinton's job approval rating has remained steady in a series of CNN/USA Today/Gallup surveys. While many Americans think Clinton should be censured, they do not want him to quit or be removed from office via impeachment, the polls suggest. The CNN/USA Today/Gallup polls randomly surveyed from about 600 to 1,000 adult Americans, and the margin of sampling error generally ranges from +/- 3 to +/- 5 percentage points. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Bill Clinton is handling his job as president?

As you may now, the House has now impeached Clinton and the case has been sent to the Senate for trial. What do you want your senators to do -- vote in favor of convicting Clinton and removing him from office, or vote against convicting Clinton so he will remain in office?
