In the background sound of this tape, an unidentified donor can be heard approaching then-Democratic National Committee Chairman Don Fowler with the offer of five checks. Fowler declined the checks, saying, "As soon as this thing is over, I'll call you. I'm sorry I can't take this. I apologize to you, and we'll get it done." (3MB QuickTime movie)

International oilman and Democratic contributor Roger Tamraz can be seen attending this coffee. Tamraz later told the Senate committee investigating campaign fund-raising that he donated some $300,000 to the Democratic Party in part to gain White House access. (1.9MB QuickTime movie)
