From: Marc Sklar Subject: Clinton sends letter of condolence over Diana's death
President Bill Clinton has written to British Prime Minister Tony Blair expressing his condolences over the death of Princess Diana. The White House released the text of the message Monday. The president is also sending letters to Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles and Earl Spencer, Diana's brother, but officials say those letters will remain private. The text of the president's letter to Blair follows: "Dear Tony, Hillary and I were deeply shocked by the news of Princess Diana's passing. The British people, indeed all of us, have lost a friend and a strong voice for those less fortunate. Our prayers are with her children, family and friends. With deepest sympathy, Bill
