President and Mrs. Clinton host a State Dinner in Chilean President Eduardo Frei and his wife Marta Larraechea de Frei's honor this evening. Mrs. Clinton is scheduled to return from a day trip to New York City where she received a Grammy award for the audio version of her book, "It Takes a Village" in time for the 7:25 p.m. dinner.
The party will dine on House Cured Salmon and Cinnamon Smoked Lamb in the State Dining Room. Following dinner, musicians Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, and Mark O'Connor will perform in the East Room.
Dinner attendees include numerous U.S. and Chilean dignitaries and other notable guests such as writer Isabel Allende, Wal Mart CEO Robson Walton, and Continental Airlines President Gordon Bethune.
