My three top priorities are:
* Get the federal government out of all activities not specified in the Constitution. That means getting the federal government completely out of welfare, education, health care, housing, transportation, agriculture, crime control, regulation -- all the areas in which the federal government has created such a mess in the past 30-60 years.
* Repeal completely the federal income tax, the corporate income tax, the capital gains tax, as well as the estate and gift taxes, and finance the Constitutional functions of government -- mostly just national defense and the federal judiciary -- with the revenue from tariffs and excise taxes being collected today.
* Get the government completely out of Social Security. Sell off federal assets that the government has no authority to own --western lands, pipelines, power companies, oil rights, mineral rights, buildings, and other assets -- and use the proceeds to buy private, lifetime annuities for everyone dependent on Social Security today. The rest of us will then be free forever from the 15% Social Security tax that we all know is nothing more than money sent down a rathole.
