Located near Yangon's iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, the Savoy Hotel Yangon is a peaceful retreat. The owners estimate that the colonial-era main building was built in the 1940s, originally serving as the home of a doctor. When the building became a hotel in 1995, the architects retained the main building, grand staircase, and several antiques.
