Love story: The Villaflors' love story started in 2009 when they met in a religious group through a friend. Two years later, Mark was down on one knee at the W Hong Kong, proposing to the tune of Train's "Marry Me."
Honeymoon: A teacher at the time, Mark pitched his new wife a crazy idea: what if they took a year-long honeymoon?
Budgeting: They saved $30,000, packed up two rucksacks and set out for the US to begin their journey. They budgeted about $100 a day, which lasted them over a year thanks to work-stay exchanges and blogging.
Epic trip: Mark and Camille's epic trip took them through the US, Kenya, Tanzania, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Brazil and Ecuador.
Experiences: The honeymoon was a year of eye-opening experiences -- they took salsa lessons in Colombia and got robbed in Africa, luckily, without being physically harmed.
Uhuru Peak: One of the most memorable moments of the honeymoon was reaching Uhuru Peak -- the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro at an altitude of 19,341 feet.
