Cleveland (CNN)The highlight of any national political party convention is the nominee's acceptance speech. He (or she) is expected to lay out his (or her) grand plan for the next four years. While every nominee is unique, many sound similar.

There hasn't historically been much diversity -- in 2008 then-Sen. Barack Obama was the first black nominee to lead a major party and this year Hillary Clinton is expected to become the first woman to do the same. Donald Trump is the first known billionaire.
