Meet Johnny Ward – Onestep4ward blog's founder Johnny Ward is one of the few travel bloggers in the world claiming to have earned more than a million dollars through blogging.
Thailand – Originally from Kilkeel in Northern Ireland, Ward flew to Thailand after graduating from university in 2006. He took a poorly paid job teaching English but upped his salary by switching to sales. He then saved enough to start traveling.
Goals – Ward's aims are to visit every country in the world and to be a millionaire without working nine-to-five. When CNN spoke to him, he'd already visited 193 out of 197 countries.
Micronesia – Ward celebrates International Women's Day with a fellow travel blogger in Micronesia.
Abidjan, Ivory Coast – Extensive globetrotting requires a good portfolio of passport photos. This is where Ward had his passport image taken in West Africa's Ivory Coast -- the 166th country he visited.
Pakistan – "When I say I'm maximizing my life, I'm not drinking Long Island iced teas in the Maldives, you know. I'm maximizing my experiences, and I go to bed thinking well that was a cool week, and next week's going to be cool too." This is a picture of a public bus Ward took while in Pakistan.
Nauru – "I'm in Nauru, the least visited country in the world (160 tourists per YEAR!)," says Ward as he visits his 192th stop. During his stay he ran around the 19-kilometer road circling the Micronesian island.
Funafuti, Tuvalu – The Irish blogger captured this picture of Funafuti's international airport on the tiny Pacific island nation of Tuvalu. When planes aren't landing or taking off, locals use it as an exercise ground.
How many passports? – After visiting almost 200 countries in the last decade, Ward has stamped his way through six passports.
'You can do it too' – "If I can do this, anyone can do it," Wards tells CNN via Skype from a stylish two-bed apartment in Bangkok that he bought outright with his earnings. "It just takes a bit of belief."
