Chatter that Lin-Manuel Miranda is set to leave “Hamilton” in July set off a wave of panic among fans, and Sunday he spoke out about his reported exit.

“This is not the end of anything,” Miranda told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the Tony Awards. “I don’t know when I’m leaving yet, but I think that I built a house I can come back to any time I want, so I’m really excited about that.”

Ticket asking prices on reseller Stub Hub shot up to almost $10,000 after reports that Miranda would exit the hit Broadway play he created and currently stars in.

But the actor joked to ET that “You guys are going to be so sick of me in this part,” and referenced actor Ted Neeley, who had a longstanding career starring in “Jesus Christ Superstar.”

“I’ve written a part I can’t age out of, so even if I take a break, I’ll always come back,” Miranda said.

Miranda will start shooting a “Mary Poppins” sequel with actress Emily Blunt next year.
