(CNN)The refreshing Mint Julep, the drink of choice at the Kentucky Derby.
It is estimated at this year's event, which takes place on May 6 and 7, 1000 pounds of mint will go into making the crowds' favorite tipple.
Or, to put that into perspective, the same weight as a grand piano.
120,000 of the popular cocktails are expected to be served, using 10,000 bottles of ready-to-serve Old Forester Mint Julep.
These cost around $25, meaning punters will spend a quarter of a million dollars on these bottles alone over the derby's two days.
