"I've heard it before," Trump told CNN's Chris Cuomo
Obama mocked Trump throughout his speech Saturday
Donald Trump said Monday he was “fine” with President Barack Obama’s jokes about him at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday, brushing it off by saying he had “heard it before.”
“I thought it was fine, honestly I’ve heard it, I’ve heard it before,” Trump told CNN’s Chris Cuomo on “New Day.”
Obama mocked Trump throughout his speech Saturday, saying at one point that Trump’s foreign policy experience amounted to working with beauty pageant winners.
“They say Donald lacks the foreign policy experience to be president, but in fairness he has spent years meeting with leaders from around the world: Miss Sweden, Miss Argentina, Miss Azerbaijan,” he said.

Trump said Monday that he had plenty of foreign policy experience from his business.
“I do deal with leaders around the world. I built a great company and right now we have hundreds of deals being negotiated all over the world by my company and I deal with presidents and I deal with prime ministers and I deal with everybody,” Trump said. “I probably have more experience than virtually anybody looking at this office.”
He also said he did not avoid Saturday’s dinner because he was roasted by Obama at the 2011 dinner, which he attended. Instead, he blamed the “dishonest” media for saying he felt humiliated that year.

Obama and comedian Seth Meyers lampooned Trump in 2011, as Trump was stoking the “birther” movement alleging Obama was not born in the United States. But Trump said he had a “great time.”
“I told that to the President as I was leaving. I had a great time … I had a fantastic time,” Trump told Cuomo.
“The next day (the press) said, ‘Donald Trump had a miserable time, he felt humiliated,’ ” Trump said. “I didn’t feel humiliated, I had a great time. So the press is very dishonest, they don’t report the truth and therefore it’s just easier not to go.”
