'The Passion': 5 things we can't wait to see

(Billboard)The live-musical revival continues this weekend with Fox's "The Passion," presented by Tyler Perry, who will also serve as the narrator in this modern retelling of the story of Jesus Christ set to modern music. Plenty of stars have signed on for the sure-to-be-emotional retelling.

Below, five reasons we can't wait to see Sunday's show.
    1. Trisha Yearwood will portray Mary and will sing such tunes as Whitney Houston's "My Love Is Your Love," Jewel's "Hands," Jason Mraz's "I Won't Give Up," Lifehouse's "Broken" and "You'll Never Walk Alone" from the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical Carousel, per People.
    2. While some segments of the live production were pre-shot, those moments will have a choir and band performing simultaneously, according to Variety.
    3. Four words: Chris Daughtry is Judas.
    4. In addition to Daughtry, stars such as Seal and Prince Royce are also part of the cast. Tunes from Katy Perry and Celine Dion will also be featured (does this mean we're getting a "Firework" montage?).
    5. The story will culminate with the procession of a cross from New Orleans' Champions Square outside through the streets -- alongside thousands of spectators -- to a stage at Woldenberg Park.
What are you excited to see?
